The Phase I Project included demolition of the existing 20,000 sq.ft. Neighborhood Community Center (NCC) and the construction of a new 24,000 sq.ft. two-story LEED Gold library. The Lions Park improvements included approximately 2.45 acres of onsite redevelopment, including new landscaping, hardscaping, and irrigation, which increased usable park open space by approximately one acre overall.

Also included in the project were offsite street-front improvements along Park Avenue and Anaheim Avenue.
