This was a design build historical renovation. The existing 24,000 SF library building, built in 1920, was renovated and restored along with constructing an approximately 8,000 SF three-story addition to the rear of the building to match the period construction. There was a complete renovation of the interior, including reconfiguration of existing spaces (including offices, meeting rooms, and classrooms); replacement of all interior finishes; and a new elevator, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
