TS is looking for part-time interns in the field of Project Engineering.
Do you take “close attention to detail” to a whole new level? Have your previous employers and/or professors told you to “take it down a notch” when it comes to editing? We are searching for you! Tovey/Shultz Construction, Inc. is a longstanding pillar in the general contracting community, and we need interns to support our Project Engineering staff.
TS has a fast-paced work environment, and we seek talented employees who crave learning new skills and aren’t afraid to tackle big projects. As an intern, you will get to work with a variety of our staff, while working on real projects that will help us grow.
Our ideal candidate is someone who isn’t afraid of hard work or analytical thinking and enjoys working on a team.
What You Will Learn:
How to administrate site construction activities and coordinate preconstruction documents from the architect and subcontractors as required to support the project manager and superintendent in accomplishing the work of the contract between the owner and TS. This includes maintaining efficient document control and an organized jobsite workspace. There will also be plenty of additional opportunities in related projects to grow your skills.
What We Require:
*Background in Business, Communication, Construction Management or other related discipline.
*Strong communication skills.
*Proficient in MS Office Suite.
*Organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments.
*Creative and Flexible.
*Interest in construction management and community development.

You will also learn how to work in a professional environment and have ample opportunity to network with department leaders and other professionals in the general construction field.
This paid position begins as part-time through the end of April and shifts to full-time over the summer.
